It seems like I haven't updated in ages. Everything was alright over Easter Break last weekend. I found out a few nights ago that my older sister Laura is engaged I'm happy for her . We didn't really have an official practice on Sunday, because Andy and his uncle Josh couldn't come. Because of that, it was only Myles, Will and I. And we just goofed around most of the time, not making up a whole lot, except for one song Will was playing on my guitar that I thought was good for an intro to a new song. That made our "practice" seem a little less wasted. Yesterday I had to take and pickup Amberlin from CCHS for their rehearsal for the musical, from noon - 8pm, which didn't go too well for her because she was sick, and would be forced to quit if she didn't show up that day. It must suck going there while feeling sick on a no-school day for 8 hours
Now for school, it's been killing me and hitting my patience hard; day by day, I begin to turn more negative toward it by losing interest and thinking more of it as lame. But really - it's the drama that I can't live another day with
Again, I'm stressed out by what seems to be EVERYTHING at this point. All I can think about (until the day it happens) is the sooner I graduate, the better.
I had a blast playing paintball my 2nd time today. I had to find another hopper for my gun, which sucks because I STILL can't find mine, but luckily someone lended me one. We had about 24 people play. It was fun. "The fear of pain is part of the game,"
Everyone needs to check this out so I can hear what everyone thinks. It is a recent recording from my band "Mahatma," and it's our first song that we made. Unfortunately, there are no vocals recorded, because some things went downside. But it's only temporarily, for it will remain as an instrumental song until we reissue an official recording with some (decent) vocals. Don't hesitate to listen to it, you might actually like it
-Took the ACT test @ CCHS -Practiced and finally completed our first song, for sure this time , after teaching DJ how to play the rhythm guitar part. It is a really catchy song, in my opinion. We will have it recorded and ready to play on our myspace eventually, and really soon. -Played for our full dress-rehearsal for my church's pageant "The Borrowed Tomb" -Went to Andy's dad's house to hang out with him, his uncle Josh, and Will -Took my first step toward "becoming a new man"
